Owning bullies for 23 years now, we came upon the French Bulldogs in 2002. After much research and studying the breed we decided they were indeed the dogs for us. We got our first French Bulldog & haven't stopped laughing since. That wonderful Frenchie personality and their clown antics got us hooked. We caught the ever so contagious FRENCHIE FEVER and it's been years of fun now as a French Bulldog owner first and French Bulldog breeder second.

French Bulldogs or as the French say "Bouledogue Français" are also called: "Frenchies",  "Frog Dogs" and "Clown Dogs". They make wonderful pets, they are happy, loving & constantly amusing you with the funny things they do. Their muscular, compact, stocky bodies, beautiful smooshed faces and the trade mark Bat Ears really make them irresistible! French Bulldogs are small in size, but they are quite large in personality & truly are CLOWN dogs. They bring endless amounts of  joy, love & laughter. We are fortunate to share our lives with them. 

We encourage everyone to do their research before acquiring a dog. Every breed has genetic weaknesses that dispose them to certain diseases, and their temperaments (and yes looks) are often why we choose one breed over another. It makes good sense to know the breed you may be thinking of buying or rescuing, and to better understand what you can do to prevent problems for your own dog if you already have a certain breed.

When we do have French Bulldog Puppies for sale they will only go to loving homes. We do not deal with Imports, Puppy Mills or Brokers.  BEWARE of breeders who claim their French Bulldog Puppy's are rare colors. French Bulldog Colors such as Mouse (Blue), Liver (Chocolate), etc... these are recessive colors, they are what they are dilutions of black, plain and simple, but they are considered DISQUALIFICATIONS in the AKC Ring. French Bulldogs are NOT supposed to have light eyes, do your research on what is and is NOT correct for the breed.... it's very easy to breed for colors people call "rare", anyone can acquire them and breed them, breeders CHOOSE not to. I see many French Bulldog Puppies for sale like these on the Internet and there are reasons why reputable french bulldog breeders DON'T breed these colors... Something to ponder....  There is no such thing as a "Mini or Toy Frenchie" either... The AKC French Bulldog standard is 18-28lbs and they vary in size, but the term "mini french bulldog" doesn't exist, just more hype on some of these websites. We don't claim to be experts, we just advise to "Do Your Research" before you buy into these silly "Sales Gimmicks" seen on many websites using these words such as  "RARE", " ONE OF A KIND", "EXOTIC", " MINI" , etc... just to sell puppies. 

*We have found people copying our site. Copying others work "word for word" without giving credit, using all the same ideas and layout and information is pretty pathetic. We say have a little bit of integrity and create your own site with your own words. I am not talking about general French Bulldog Information that can be found all over the Net, I am talking about my own opinions, descriptions, my words being used like they were someone else's own words, stealing our photos, our logos we make from scratch, etc... BE CAREFUL is all I say.
